Shockwave Medical, Inc. is a pioneer in the development and commercialization of Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL) to treat complex calcified cardiovascular disease. Shockwave Medical aims to establish a new standard of care for medical device treatment of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease through its differentiated and proprietary local delivery of sonic pressure waves for the treatment of calcified plaque. 

 

Position Overview   

The Senior Analyst in Supply Chain will focus on driving continuous improvement across our entire supply chain. The role will need to have hands-on experience in end-to-end Supply Chain Operations, including planning, forecasting, procurement, warehousing network, inventory management and operational expenditure. The role will collect and analyzes data to help improve an organization’s supply chain operations. This role is responsible for partnering with internal stakeholders/teams to identifying problems in workflow, analyzing costs and benefits, and suggesting improvements. He/she will maintain and enhance end-to-end supply chain processes and tools post-ERP implementation, ensuring seamless, integrated, and automated solutions that will result in improved workflows, productivity, data integrity, and drive growth.  


Essential Job Functions
  

  • Act as a Data Steward for Product set up in Oracle
  • Ensure all attributes in Product Information Management setting correctly in Oracle by Business functions owners
  • Lead and participate in data remediation activities to close gaps between defined data definitions and existing data, resolving identified inconsistencies
  • Analyze, develop, and implement reporting and KPI for Supply Chain Operations, including planning, procurement, warehousing network, and inventory management
  • Maintenance and update systems master data attribute for Supply Chain Operations, including planning, procurement, and warehousing network
  • Be a trusted partner and peer to our Supply Chain leaders to partner back with the core internal stakeholders/teams to deliver recommendations that address business and process improvements
  • Establish and execute data management governance processes pertaining to supply chain operations attributes to ensure data integrity / clean master data
  • Conduct advanced analysis to interpret high impact business needs and translate them into comprehensible recommendations and system requirements
  • Develop deep understanding of the Supply Chain system/tools ecosystem as used by the team, and continuously assess and refine for continuous improvements
  • Create and update solution and process documents. Write the deliverables required for the mission to run smoothly
  • Standardize, simplify, automate, and continuously improve our business processes, tools, and systems to optimize business operations and cost
  • Define/Simplify and document requirement workflows for Supply Chain team on testing, review and feedback gathering
  • Provide post-implementation process and application support. May act as work stream leader from start to finish on a project
  • Seek constant improvement opportunities and appropriately challenges processes to ensure consistency. Facilitate process improvement discussions with internal business partners
  • Other ad-hoc business analysis and activities as assigned

   

Requirements  

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline with minimum 5 years of related experience required; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain process flow within quality system requirements and compliance (e.g. traceability, QSRs, ISO, MDD requirements)
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems, Oracle/QAD preferred
  • APICS certification a plus. Six Sigma or lean certification a plus
  • Understanding of medical device industry trends, peer company best practices preferred
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze and resolve complex business problems
  • Experience with developing supply chain KPIs and dashboards in Oracle and/or PowerBI
  • Proven supply chain expertise and help business design end-to-end processes, system reporting and metrics
  • Demonstrated use of data to solve business problems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with demonstrated analytical capabilities, business savvy, and leadership skills; with a focus on details and accuracy and a strong aim to improve existing process and systems
  • Experience in project management
  • Good time management skills; work well with deadlines and under pressure. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to adapt and complete unexpected or un-forecasted requirements
  • Experience dealing with ambiguity, is proactive/self-driven and results focused
  • Proven communication and information presentation skills
  • Self-motivated individual capable of working independently as well as strong team player collaborating with cross-functional teams; build relationships at all levels within the internal organization and external parties
  • Strong sense of urgency and commitment to execution
Market Range: $94,000 - $118,000
