We are seeking a skilled and self-driven IT Systems Operations Manager to join our European team. This is a standalone, sole contributor role, ideal for someone who thrives on autonomy, responsibility, and making a visible individual impact across the business.

About the Role

The IT Systems Operations Manager will have responsibility for Shionogi Europe’s IT systems and infrastructure. This includes cloud environments, Active Directory, SSO integration, and 3rd/4th line support. You will work cross-functionally with all departments and external partners and be required to represent Europe in Global IT discussions.

Your main responsibilities will involve:

• Managing and maintaining Azure Cloud, Active Directory, VPN, and firewall policies
• Administering SSO applications and system certificates across the Microsoft 365 stack
• Leading IT operational projects and liaising with global teams in the US and Japan
• Providing expert-level support and acting as the escalation point for IT issues
• Collaborating with vendors and third parties to ensure seamless infrastructure performance
• Creating documentation and supporting help desk teams across Europe

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a proactive and technically strong professional with:

• Proven experience in IT Systems operations
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, with the demonstrated experience to present and influence to senior management
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Certifications in Microsoft 365 and Azure are a big advantage
• Willingness to travel and collaborate across time zones
• Strong project leadership skills without direct line management
