We are now seeking a Tax Analyst to join our European Finance team on a 6-month contract, providing hands-on, day-to-day support across indirect tax, direct tax, and transfer pricing compliance activities.

About the Role
Reporting to the European Tax Director, you will play a key operational role in the day-to-day preparation, validation, and coordination of tax-related data across multiple jurisdictions.
This is a hands-on execution role, focused on completing recurring compliance activities, supporting reporting cycles, and ensuring that tax processes run smoothly during a busy period for the business.
- Gather, prepare, reconcile, and validate financial and transactional data for VAT, corporate income tax, and transfer pricing compliance.
- Extract and prepare VAT-relevant data, including EC Sales Lists, Intrastat, and country-specific VAT submissions.
- Support the accounting close by preparing transfer pricing adjustment calculations and cost allocation data.
- Assist the accounting team with data compilation for corporate income tax returns, including trial balances, cost centre reports, and general ledger extracts.
- Prepare transaction listings and intercompany charge summaries for transfer pricing documentation.
- Coordinate data and information requests from external advisors, HQ, and internal stakeholders.
- Support responses to routine audit or tax authority queries by gathering and organising supporting data.
What Are We Looking For?
We are seeking a detail-focused and reliable tax or finance professional who is comfortable managing routine tasks, deadlines, and large data sets in a multi-country environment.
- Experience in an in-house tax, finance role within a multinational organisation.
- Hands-on experience supporting tax compliance data preparation (VAT, corporate tax, and/or transfer pricing).
- A good understanding of VAT principles and exposure to EU VAT frameworks.
- Strong data reconciliation, analytical, and Excel skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
- Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Tax; professional qualifications (ACCA, ACA, ATT, ADIT) completed or in progress are advantageous.
