Account Director
 
The Account Director position is a dedicated lead account role that will support one of Shift Digital’s OEM automotive clients. This role will be based out of our Laguna Beach office. The Account Director will have experience in account management, dealer websites, digital advertising, enterprise lead management, CRM and leading a team. The role requires strong program management skills overseeing key OEM programs. 
 
The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Own projects from beginning to final delivery to client 
  • Manage project scope, vendors, and client expectations
  • Manage project status including milestone tracking, budget, allocation, and open issues 
  • Manage expectations, set realistic goals, and achieve them 
  • Review and manage vendor performance to ensure integration and compliance with program business standards and guidelines 
  • Initiate and lead QA activities on program solutions to be delivered to the client 
  • Provide in-depth analytical analysis and case studies of performance of products and services using tools provided 
  • Work effectively within the team to prioritize client requests and product requirements. This includes weighing current customer/prospect needs with longer term product roadmap needs 
  • Work with dealer support team for important communication initiatives and help with issue resolution 
  • Risk identification and mitigation 
  • Manage requirement gathering, project plans, project development and delivery of new features or functions 
  • Support monthly and ad hoc reporting requests as driven by the client 
  • Works closely with senior management team on overall account strategy 
  • Occasional travel in key markets as needed 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: 

  • 7+ years’ experience in digital marketing 
  • Wholesale & Retail Automotive experience
  • Demonstrated ability to grow revenue
  • Strong understanding of the digital marketing landscape 
  • Account management experience with a proven track record of success 
  • Must be self-motivated, with strong organizational skills 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are expected 
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalentrequired

Some of these factors include, but are not limited to: skill set, location, years of experience, licenses, certifications, and business/organizational needs. The following compensation range is specific to New York City, Colorado, Nevada, California, and Washington residents only. While we do provide an estimated salary range, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the top range for their role. A reasonable estimate for this role is: $150,000-228,000.
