Sr. Program Specialist – Dealer Tools Program
OVERVIEW
We are looking for a Sr. Program Specialist to support one of Shift Digital’s automotive clients, Mazda US, managed out of the Laguna Beach, CA office. The Sr. Program Specialist will support the Mazda Dealer Tools Program, which is a collection of individual programs spanning Digital Retailing, Chat, Trade, Tap to Text, and Service Scheduling. The Mazda Dealer Tools Program is designed to offer Mazda’s dealerships with vetted lead generation tools that can be plugged into their website, giving them more opportunities to connect with online shoppers and drive interest and conversion.
The Sr. Program Specialist will be responsible for owning and maintaining specific projects supporting the various Dealer Tools. This person will work to service the client and program in terms of project management, reporting requests, data analysis, data QA, dealer adoption, and identifying opportunities to optimize performance. The Sr. Program Specialist will support program roadmaps, project plans, support client’s request for requirements gathering, ad-hoc reporting requests, new feature/functionality development, etc.
This is a full-time position based at our Laguna Beach, CA office. Employees are currently required to be in-office 3-4 days a week. The Sr. Program Specialist reports to the Program Manager over this program.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Program Operations: Manage projects required for program launch, maintenance and growth with may include developing scope & project plan, tracking milestones, working with vendors, setting client expectations, identifying & managing issues, overseeing integrations & supporting quality assurance checks, etc.
- Program Awareness and Communication: Communicate all program details, changes and actions required to certified program vendors, client, and regional teams. Work effectively with internal teams, vendor teams and client to support client requests, program requirements. Work directly with dealer support to ensure program enrollments, cancellations, provider changes are processed and tracked accordingly.
- Program Growth: Drive program growth through improvements to KPIs, enhancements to the program strategy & tactics, and identifying / consulting the client on overall program enhancements
- Client Relations: Manage client relationships, and proactively engage them, while serving as the SME for across all digital channels with a focus on digital tools & website. This role will include interaction with the client, which requires a polished and professional demeanor and the ability to support meetings and present to teams/groups.
- Measurement, Reporting and Analytics: Define, measure and manage the program performance through use of analytics and reporting tools and provide client key insights on performance of content. Provide in-depth analysis and case studies of performance of products and services using tools provided.
- Vendor Integration and Management: Manage vendors to ensure they are meeting program benchmarks, adhering to brand and program standards, servicing in-program dealers as expected, maintaining required integrations and delivering all required reporting in a timely manner
- Account Planning: Map quarterly goals to track key initiatives and program goals are being met
- Travel: May include some travel within market as needed to drive adoption
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Automotive experience is strongly desired
- 2+ years of professional work experience. Digital marketing experience is preferred, but not required.
- Project management skills necessary to manage various and numerous projects while tracking costs against budgets and time to completion
- Understanding the digital space, associated analytics, and delivery of technology solutions
- Key decision-making skills to provide valuable feedback and recommendations to client
- Detail oriented and self-motivated
- Detailed & functional expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Advanced Excel skills with experience creating complex spreadsheets, including use of Pivot Tables & Pivot Charts (Must be able to pass an Excel skills test)
- Experience with PowerBI is preferred, but not required.
- Experience with Salesforce is preferred, but not required.
- Communication and interpersonal skills necessary to actively promote a cooperative team environment
- Desire to be client facing – speaking with, presenting and working towards consulting the client
- Desire to own success of projects
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
At Shift, many factors are taken into account when determining a reasonable compensation range for any given role. Some of these factors include, but are not limited to: skillset, location, years of experience, licenses, certifications, and business/organizational needs. The following compensation range is specific to New York City, Colorado, Nevada, California, and Washington residents only. While we do provide an estimated salary range, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the top range for their role. A reasonable estimate for this role is: $65,000-$80,000.
