NP/PA – Urgent Care Full Time (1.0FTE)

Requirements/Preferred Experience:

• SRSMG is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Urgent Care Department
• Minimum two (2) years of full-time NP/PA experience in emergency medicine or high-acuity urgent care required
• Five (5) years experience in emergency medicine or high-acuity urgent care preferred
• Active, unrestricted California NP or PA license required
• Current board certification in applicable specialty required
• Comfortable practicing independently and managing a broad spectrum of urgent and emergent conditions

Position Details: 

• Full-time salaried position at 1.0FTE (160 hours/month) with multiple shift options available, including 6-, 8-, 10-, 12-hour shifts
• Join a large, dedicated Urgent Care department that operates at 6 outpatient clinic sites throughout San Diego County: Chula Vista, Downtown, Santee, Otay Ranch, Sorrento Mesa, and Rancho Bernardo
• Clinics are open from 8am-8pm, 365 days per year (no overnight shifts)
• Practice a wide spectrum of emergency-based medicine: headaches, abdominal work ups, chest pains, laceration repairs, I&D, dislocations, eye injuries, etc.
• Each site offers in-house onsite lab, radiology, and pharmacy services, providing comprehensive support for patient care
• Collaborative practice environment with experienced Urgent Care physicians and APPs, including opportunities to perform a variety of office-based procedures

Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group is committed to pay equity and transparency. Compensation is determined by a structured pay scale based on years of experience and applicable certifications, with final placement within the range confirmed during the recruitment process. The annual base salary range is $154,500.00-$216,537.30, with eligibility for bonuses, incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package. This position is represented by UNAC/UHCP under applicable labor agreements.
