Requirements/Preferred Experience:
  • SRSMG is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our General Surgery Department
  • To be considered for the position, candidate must have a minimum of 1 year experience working full-time as an NP/PA in breast surgical oncology or general surgery
  • Ideal candidate has OR experience
  • Must have a formal first assist certification
  • Must be comfortable working independently
Position Details 
  • Full-time salaried position working 5 days/week (Monday - Friday) at SRS Genesee and Sharp Memorial Hospital
  • 50% inpatient and 50% outpatient
  • Provider will be performing initial consultations, pre- and post- operative visits, and patient education
  • Initiating testing and further work ups in patients recently diagnosed with breast cancer
  • Assessing benign breast disease and breast infections
  • Assisting breast surgeons in the OR with dissection and closure
  • Working with our interdisciplinary team to provide outstanding care to SRS patients

Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group is committed to pay equity and transparency. Compensation is determined by a structured pay scale based on years of experience and applicable certifications, with final placement within the range confirmed during the recruitment process. The annual base salary range is $154,500.00-$216,537.30, with eligibility for bonuses, incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package. This position is represented by UNAC/UHCP under applicable labor agreements.
