Requirements/Preferred Experience:
  • SRSMG is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Occupational Medicine Department (One of the only 100% dedicated Occupational Medicine Departments in the County)
  • To be considered for the position, candidate must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience working full-time as an NP/PA in occupational medicine, urgent care, emergency medicine, or orthopedics
  • Ideal candidate has experience with strains, pains, acute injuries, sore backs, foreign objects and lacerations
  • Must be comfortable working independently
 
Position Details:
  • Full-time salaried position located at the Chula Vista clinic
  • Schedule is 5 days/week from 8am-5pm with an hour lunch break
  • Average of about 18-20 patients per day
    • 50% pre-placement employer-based exams & 50% new injuries, acute visits
  • Position is 100% outpatient working with our interdisciplinary team to provide outstanding care to SRS patients
  • No nights / No weekends / No call

Annual starting salary for a new graduate NP/PA is $134,000/year. The posted annual salary may vary and is dependent on several factors including candidate’s education, work experience, and certifications related to the position. APPs may also be eligible to receive bonuses and incentives related to the specific role. In addition, NPs and PAs receive a full comprehensive benefits package including CME allowance.
