Maven Dermatology is a premier healthcare facility specializing in medical, pediatric, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Medical Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities: 

• Coordinate scheduling
• Patient check-in and check-out
• Facilitate patient flow by exam room set up/turn down
• Submit prior auths and referrals
• Assist in surgeries
• Set up medical equipment
• Educate patients about at home instructions
• Deliver compassionate support, attention, and assistance to patients and families
• Assists physicians with examinations, procedures, and other processes related to direct patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications: 

• Medical Assistant Certificate
• CPR Certification preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in medical terminology and computer skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in a medical office setting is advantageous. 

Hourly Salary Range 

• $19.00 - $23.00 (based on experience)
