What You’ll Do:
- Conduct pre- and post-surgical office visits, including chemotherapy schedule coordination
- Assist surgeons in operating rooms, ASCs, and hospitals
- Provide inpatient, ER, and post-op care with individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with physicians to ensure continuity and quality of care
- Perform medication reconciliation and coordinate discharge planning
- Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostics
- Educate patients on procedures, recovery, and ongoing care
- Support staff and student training; participate in clinical education
- Participate in surgical rounds and on-call duties as needed
Qualifications:
- NPs: Accredited Nurse Practitioner program graduate with current CA RN/NP license, national certification (ANCC/AANP), DEA, and furnishing license
- PAs: Accredited PA program graduate with current CA PA license, DEA, and Controlled Substance License (CSL)
- At least 6 months of surgical experience; gynecologic oncology preferred
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
Preferred Experience:
- Robotic surgery assistance
- Gynecology or oncology-specific clinical work
- Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills
