The Medical Receptionist plays a vital role in supporting our healthcare practice by executing high-quality patient-oriented procedures under the supervision of a physician. Our top priority is to deliver excellent patient care while safeguarding patient and employee confidentiality.
Hourly Pay Range: $16.39 - 25.00

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet all patients warmly and efficiently check them in through the clinic's system.
- Verify and distribute patient demographics, collect co-pays, and accurately log payments for billing.
- Schedule follow-up appointments, reschedule appointments based on physician schedule changes, and confirm appointments.
- Assist with insurance authorizations.
- Handle incoming phone calls, assessing the urgency of calls and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Reconcile cash drawers at the end of the day, ensuring the accuracy of daily balances and banking records.
- Maintain a clean and organized front office area, ensuring supplies are adequately stocked.

- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent certification required.
- Medical Assistant Certificate or CPR Certification preferred.
- Minimum of 6 months of Medical Assistant experience required; 1-2 years of experience preferred.
- Insurance authorizations experience a plus.
- Bilingual in Spanish required.
