Full-time Ob/Gyn Nurse Practitioner position in a large, prestigious, busy private practice that serves the greater San Diego area. Live and work in beautiful San Diego, home to miles of scenic beaches, breathtaking hikes and year-round sunshine with a laidback local culture.  

Our busy OB/GYN clinic is seeking a Full- Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a background in OB/GYN care.  From routine gynecological and obstetrics needs to complex women’s health issues, West Coast OB/GYN is committed to providing you personalized, supportive care in a serene, respective private practice atmosphere. 

The ideal candidate will be primarily focused on providing care to our GYN clients, while also supporting our OB patients.  Our clinic offers a friendly environment,  great doctors, and wonderful support from our staff. We have two locations in San Diego  and La Mesa, providing convenient access for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive GYN care, including well-woman exams, Pap tests, breast exams, and family planning services.
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic GYN conditions, such as pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, and infections.
  • Collaborate with our OB/GYN physician to support OB patients as needed, including prenatal care, labor and delivery support, and postpartum care.
  • Conduct patient education and counseling on GYN health topics, including contraceptive options, menopause management, and sexual health.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with our clinical and administrative staff to provide high-quality patient care and maintain a positive patient experience.


Requirements:

  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of California.
  • Valid DEA License
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with a commitment to evidence-based practice.
