Job Type: Full Time 
Schedule: 10/40 Alternate Work Schedule. 
Salary Range: $26.50 - $31.80 - $39.75 (Based on experience)

The Lead Revenue Cycle Specialist ’s role supports our business by proactively lead accounts receivable, including follow-up, appeals, and denials and utilizing complex problem-solving skills to contribute to the organization’s revenue. The primary focus of the Lead Revenue Cycle Specialist is to serve as a primary liaison to patients and clients, offering expert billing assistance, general support, and safeguarding patient and employee confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support daily operations of the billing and collections team to ensure accurate and timely revenue cycle performance.
  • Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to clients and internal team members.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, leadership, and clients.
  • Participate in and support research projects, offering operational insight.
  • Monitor KPIs and work queues to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process improvement.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • High School diploma
  • 1–3 years of medical billing experience.
  • Proficiency with EPM/EMR systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong understanding of insurance guidelines (HMO/PPO, Medicare, Medicaid).
  • Knowledge of CPT, ICD, HCPCS coding, medical terminology, and HIPAA regulations.
  • Strong multitasking, prioritization, and confidentiality skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Customer‑focused with a calm, professional demeanor.
  • Effective team collaborator with the ability to triage priorities, delegate, and resolve conflict.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills for discrepancies, denials, appeals, and collections.
  • Comfortable with math processes and 10‑key data entry.
  • Adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
