Responsibilities
Shamrock Trading Corporation is looking for an HRIS Specialist to join our HR team. The HRIS Specialist is responsible for the support and maintenance of the company’s HR systems. They are responsible for processing employee data, assisting with generating HR-related reports, and maintaining data integrity. The successful candidate will ensure that all HR-related systems are regularly updated and compliant with labor regulations. In addition to having excellent written and verbal communication skills, you will also possess in-depth knowledge of HR-related software and databases.
- Provides support, troubleshooting and guidance to HRIS users
- Assist with creating user guides, manuals, and training materials to facilitate user adoption and knowledge transfer
- Manage employee data within the HRIS, including data entry, updates and maintenance
- Serve as a backup for HRIS-related trainings
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and project deadlines
- Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements
- Develop reports for HR team and managers for all business units
- Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion - this position is privy to sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality of all company-related information is an ongoing requirement
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, application operational efficiency, and security
- Perform other related duties and projects as required and assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, information technology, or HR management required
- 1-3 years of relevant database management or related experience required
- HRIS system experience required
- Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with human resource policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals.
- Ability to work independently, organize workload, meet time sensitive deadlines, and take full ownership of role responsibilities and achievement of goals
- Proficient computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product preferred
