Responsibilities

Shamrock Trading Corporation is looking for a Treasury Specialist to join the accounting team. This role is responsible for facilitating and processing customer payments, reviewing financial account information and actively monitoring deposit information through account research and analysis. The Treasury Specialist will work closely with customer contacts to set up electronic deposit accounts and resolve payment issues. An ideal candidate will be organized with excellent communication and time management skills.    

  • Receive incoming cash receipts (ACH, Wire, Lockbox and Live Checks) and post funds per customer’s remittance
  • Work directly with internal clients to answer and resolve payment issues
  • Conduct account research and analysis using multiple resources
  • Ensure all deposits are timely posted, balanced and reconciled
  • Set up customers to submit electronic payments by providing bank documentation
  • Develop positive working relationships with coworkers and customers
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications     

  • 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, management, or business administration with an emphasis in accounting preferred, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Proficient in suite of Microsoft Office products 
  • Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, manage time and multi-task 
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of employees, managers and customers 
  • Experience with cash application preferred
