Job Title Engineering Technician I (Hourly Position)
1.-Coordinate sorting requested from Mexico and Raw Material Dept.
2.-Summarize the sorting results and coordinate the sorting companies.
3.-Evaluate the material and the disposition of NG parts.
4.-Assure the good condition of the wire harnesses.
5.-Procure the material for the sorting companies.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Follow up the inspections and sorting of FG materials.
- Work close with the sorting company for good instructions and sorting methods.
- Observe and ensure all the safety rules are followed by the QA members and sorting company
- Develop standard or visual aid and reports for sorting activities
- Help during the AIAG 16949 internal and external audits.
- Propose improvement of procedures in order to make the process more efficient and accurate.
- Close contact the Manufacturing plants on Mexico for feedback on the Quality Issues.
- Ensure the FG material condition are correct identify and meet with the all customer requirements.
- Perform the tear down inspection to the wire harnesses.
- Judgement of Good and No good part using measurement tools and repair of defects based on skill level/hierarchy
- Support to material handler to move material using the forklift
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Speak Spanish and English Preferred. Disposition to travel USA-MEX-CAD. Valid Passport
- Excellent Dimensional Skill Detailed oriented. Basic knowledge of international metric system and usage of measurement instruments (measure tape/caliper/Micrometer)
- Excellent Communication Skill.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Minimum GED and 3years experience in a similar Quality Assurance duties and AIAG TS16949.
- Disposition to work overtime and travel in short notice.
- Ability to use forklift
