This position reports to: Senior Director, Application Development

What you get to do in this role:

  • Own, innovate and lead subset of products that generate $1B+ revenue for the company
  • Partner with Product Management to design and build new product offerings
  • Need to be hands-on and be able to contribute towards development spending 10-20% time as an Individual Contributor
  • Be able to ensure quality of existing products and work in new products
  • Be able to simultaneously work on multiple releases
  • Learn the product functionality

In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:

  • Understands ServiceNow platform and product offerings
  • Proven experience building product offerings for Enterprise software and/or SAAS companies
  • Be a hands-on development manager who can design and code new functionality
  • Be able to learn product functionality and spend time testing and making sure the release is of high quality
  • Lead a team of local engineers, sub-teams and hire new talent as appropriate and manage performance of team members
  • Partner with engineering leadership, product management, peer development managers and QE on strategic initiatives
  • Be able to work with complex data models, processes, reports and tools to support and understand the team performance and how to take it to the next level
  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment
  • Highly effective communication and collaboration skills
