The Role

We are looking for an experienced Renewals Account Manager to manage Renewals Sales for our SAAS subscription services.   The ideal candidate will have worked in fast-paced tech organizations, consistently achieved sales quota in software renewals, performed account management during the customer lifecycle, and partnered with internal functional teams to achieve closure of Renewal deals.

What you get to do in this role:

  • Manage Renewals Sales for Medical, State and Local accounts in the USA East and Central regions
  • Own Renewals quota.
  • Sell renewals through ServiceNow partners & various state contract vehicles.
  • Work with Field Sales team to develop and execute win/win negotiation strategies that maximize contract value while protecting and enhancing the customer relationship.
  • Identify customer needs and demonstrate strong account management capabilities to drive renewal to on-time closure.
  • Become a subject matter expert on ServiceNow licensing models to provide both sales and customers assistance in licensing discussions.
  • Monitor customer health metrics to identify risk early and work cross functionally to develop resolution strategies.
  • Work closely with our Customer Success and Value Realization teams to drive customer product adoption and high utilization.
  • Work cross functionally with other supporting team such as Legal, Finance and Deal Desk.

 To be successful in this role, we need someone who has:

  • 5+ years demonstrated success in Renewals Account Management / Renewals Sales.
  • Demonstrated track record of building positive relationships with sales peers and internal resources.
  • Excellent customer management skills, including sales, account management, and customer service.
  • Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills with strong initiative to identify areas of process improvement and efficiency.
  • Excellent written communication, verbal communication & time management skills.
  • Experience with a SaaS model focused on enterprise software preferred but not required.
  • Experience selling to State and Local, and/or Medical accounts preferred but not required.
  • Consistent quota achievement.
  • Bachelor's degree
