Role

As the Senior Director of Security Operations, you will be responsible for creating and executing the security strategy in a rapid growth environment to protect ServiceNow and our customers.  Reporting to the CISO this role will guide a diverse team of highly skilled cyber security professionals, including a 24/7 Security Operations Center, Threat Hunt, Intel, Red Team, Telemetry and all supporting security operations for the company.

You will be expected to populate and maintain a multi-year roadmap, obtain key stakeholder sponsorship, establish governance and drive measurable and repeatable delivery of outcomes.  Successful candidates will have a validated track record in hands-on approach to maturing attack and defense capabilities in highly targeted environments at scale.  Success for the role will be the delivery of a Security Operations program that is globally recognized by our customers and partners, that is positioned to address, contain, and drive successful resolution to any cyber situation.   

Experience:

  • 10 years security operations experience specifically with enterprise systems and/or cloud security
  • Deep understanding of security attacks and defense techniques
  • History of building and leading high performing global teams
  • Ability to articulate complex issues to executives and customers
  • Process and automation expertise and planning
  • Outstanding eye for managing, motivating, mentoring and hiring top talent
