Location:  Santa Clara, CA, USA (HQ)


Summary:

ServiceNow is seeking Senior Collaboration Engineer to join our Collaboration Team.  This role will be very customer centric, so you will be highly service-oriented and possess a deep sense of ownership for user satisfaction.  You will be responsible for driving our O365 and SharePoint strategy.  The Collaboration Engineer will understand our customers' needs and translate them into requirements and functional design.  You will also possess strong communications and problem-solving skills.  This position requires in-depth knowledge of the entire O365 application stack, and how to best fit those applications in our environment.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with strategic planning for collaboration tools, including information architecture, site development, and security compliance
  • Provide SharePoint architectural and technical product expertise
  • Provides expertise within IT and across the business supporting solutions that enhance productivity with a focus on building a flexible, scalable, and secure solutions in Office 365
  • Help define and measure KPIs to maintain the health of services
  • Identify opportunities for business process automation / collaboration and provide solutions that drive adoption, streamline processes and increase user productivity
  • Collaborate with IT and other functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions using SharePoint and other Office 365 tools
  • Standardize workflow creation, document processes and create User Guides and KB Articles
  • Work with executive/senior leadership to understand their businesses needs and drive planning and problem solving for centralization and automation of business processes utilizing the SharePoint platform
  • Provide guidance, expertise, and user consultation services on SharePoint projects utilizing Office 365
  • Utilize Microsoft Flow to automate and improve customer workflows
  • Possess an overall knowledge of Azure AD Integration
  • Utilize Azure AD App Permissions to help setup automation as needed
  • Develop and support workflow solutions using SharePoint workflow and Microsoft Flow
  • Evaluate O365 capabilities and make recommendations for leveraging new features in SharePoint-related solutions
  • Perform typical administration activities such as site provisioning, permissions management, site collection configuration, search configuration, and other system administration tasks
  • Provide guidance, expertise, and user consultation services on SharePoint projects utilizing Office 365
  • Troubleshoot user reported issues with SharePoint Online and OneDrive sync clients, Office Web Apps, and other O365 workstreams.
  • Create and maintain knowledge-based documentation for users and Support teams
  • Work closely with peers to prioritize and successfully manage simultaneous projects
  • Provide uptime metrics to management

 

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Must have hands-on administration and implementation experience with the Microsoft 365 platform, including Intune, productivity tools (Office 365)
  • Experience with collaboration tools such as Slack, Zoom, WebEx, Teams, O365 tools
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced high growth environment
  • Experience with project management and issue tracking software
  • Proficiency in the ServiceNow platform
  • Hands-On experience in the administrating of Azure AD
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft OneDrive/ SharePoint APIs
