What are we looking for?

The Sales Operations Analyst is a unique hybrid role that reports to the AVP of Sales Operations and is integral to the Sales team. The successful candidate should demonstrate the ability to identify, analyze, and solve operational inefficiencies across Sales organizations. This is a highly visible position that requires extensive interaction with various teams. If you like and prefer a fast-paced environment where you have the opportunity to wear many hats and solve complex operational challenges, this is the role for you. Responsibilities will include: 

Order Operations

  • Ensure the timely processing of channel, MSSP, OEM, and direct orders
  • Proactively diagnose, troubleshoot, and address order processing inefficiencies
  • Work closely with Finance and Customer Success to ensure customer orders and shipment issues are resolved in a timely manner
  • Ensure partner and customer contracts are accurate, properly reflecting contract dates, discounts, special terms, etc.

Deal Desk

  • Interface with Sales, Finance, Sales Operations, Partner Operations, Legal, and Product Marketing
  • Overall responsibility for leveraging best practices to establish guidelines across all regions
  • Provide training, feedback, and coaching to sales on the quote building process
  • Prepare budgetary pricing estimates and formal quotes as needed
  • Assemble and troubleshoot complex quoting scenarios and deal structures
  • Prepare pricing models using customer spend data and discounting options
  • Ensure discounting complies with standard business policies
  • Enforce compliance with Bookings Guidelines and Revenue Recognition rules (SFDC) Administration

  • Work closely with users to ensure a high level of data quality for records in SFDC
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing in the delivery of price lists and the configuration and management of price books in SFDC
  • Assist and lead projects on an as needed basis: testing new SFDC functionality, maintaining SFDC records, documenting new functionality and related processes, and SFDC onboarding for new sales reps


  • Work closely with Sales Leadership to help define sales territories and ensure proper tracking within
  • Provide ad hoc reporting to various members of organization
  • Actively support continuous process improvements relevant to sales activities and functions
  • Build product relationships and feedback loops with Legal, Finance, Sales, and Product teams to drive operational and process efficiencies
  • Measure, monitor, and report key performance metrics relating to deal desk and orders

What skills and knowledge should you bring?

  • BA/BS degree. Preferably in finance, economics, accounting or related field
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (201) a plus
  • Minimum of 3 years prior experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Minimum of 5 years sales operations and deal desk and experience. Experience with SaaS is a plus
  • Must be proficient with
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Customer-centric mentality and strong sense of urgency
  • Strong ability to prioritize multiple concurrent tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including knowledge of pivot tables, VLOOKUPs
