About the role:

Reporting to the CFO, the corporate accountant will be responsible for oversight of general accounting and bookkeeping activities on a global basis, establishing and oversight of internal controls and procedures, consolidation and preparation of financial statements on a monthly basis, coordination of the annual audit and preparation of audited financial statements, cash management, revenue management, cost management,   and preparing ad hoc accounting analyses. Candidate should have a strong work ethic, work independently and have a take charge attitude. 

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements; 
  • Establish and ensure compliance with internal controls and procedures; 
  • Preparation of annual budgets; 
  • Revenue, cost and cash management; 
  • Oversee closing of books monthly; 
  • Consolidation of financial statements; 
  • A/R, A/P and payroll oversight; 
  • Coordination of annual audit; 
  • Preparation of monthly board reporting information; 
  • Establish and monitor KPIs; 
  • Approval of monthly bank reconciliations; 
  • Sales tax compliance; 
  • Tax compliance; 
  • Implementation of new accounting system (probably NetSuite). 
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Corporate Accountant in US
  • Coordination with Controller in Israel. 
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, or related field
  • 7-10 years corporate accounting experience 
  • 3+ years experience as Controller
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP in general and ASC 606 for software companies in particular.  Preference for candidates coming from cyber security industry; 
  • Strong consolidations experience, especially of international businesses; 
  • Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks (must) and NetSuite; 
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint; 
  • Strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
