The Role 

In 2019, Semperis introduced the market’s only backup and recovery product capable of restoring Active Directory (AD) from ransomware and wiper attacks. Additionally, the company added advanced threat protection, vulnerability management, and rapid response capabilities to its suite of product offerings. To capture market demand, Semperis is expanding its salesforce to include the position of Sales Director. Semperis is searching for a talented and competitive individual that thrives in a fast-paced growing environment.

The Sales Director will play a fundamental role in accelerating and scaling the territory based on attaining and exceeding revenue goals. The role will report to the VP, Sales EMEA.

This is a remote position and is preferably based out of Spain but other locations will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Understanding customer needs and requirements
  • Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Identify decision makers within targeted leads to begin the sales process
  • Develop and cultivate relationships at all levels of an organization
  • Collaborate with appropriate team members and channel partners to develop strategic sales approaches
  • Maintain and expand the company’s database of prospects and customers
  • Create and deliver sales presentations, product demonstrations, and other sales actions
  • Assist in creating Request for Proposal (RFP) responses to potential clients
  • Where necessary, support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events
  • Willingness to travel to customers or events as necessary

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10+ years proven enterprise software sales experience
  • University or college degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated ability to convert prospects, close deals, achieve sales quotas, and build a territory.
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and English
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • “Customer comes first” attitude
Bonus:
  • Knowledge of Cyber Security and related technologies
  • Knowledge of identity management systems such as Microsoft Active Directory.
