As a Senior Project Manager, you will manage the successful project performance of Education construction projects from inception to completion. Collaborate closely with clients, owner’s representatives, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and adhere to Sellen’s Project Delivery Plan and quality standards.
 
Senior Project Managers demonstrate Sellen’s brand and values by leading people to collaborate and drive projects successfully to completion. This Senior Project Manager will provide leadership and accountability for successful healthcare project delivery in all phases of the construction, often on complex or multiple projects. The Senior Project Manager develops key relationships with project stakeholders and uses excellent project management skills to bring the project to satisfactory completion. Senior Project Managers are seen as mentors and teachers for their project teams. 
Your Qualifications 
 
The qualified Senior Project Manager will hold a Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of work experience and education. 
 
AND 
 
10+ years of experience in construction management with progressive responsibilities and experience across a broad scope of work and project types. 
 
Knowledge
  • Knowledge of emerging methods in commercial construction. 
  • Expertise in contracts and documentation practices used in commercial construction.  
  • Working knowledge of financial reports and financial analysis. 
Skills 
  • Strong negotiation skills. 
  • Expert organizational, scheduling, and planning skills. 
  • Solid budget and cost estimating skills. 
  • Effective leadership skills. 
  • Communication skills: 
    • Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills.
    • Outstanding written communication. 
    • Exceptional listening skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible, adaptable, and manage stress under pressure especially when experiencing setbacks and challenges. 
  • Demonstrated ability to delegate and assign responsibility to others, work collaboratively on a team, and hold others accountable. 
  • Demonstrated ability to respond constructively to feedback, coaching, and change. 
The full salary range for this position is $158,000 to $200,000. New hires typically start between $158,000 and $186,000, depending on direct professional experience and qualifications. The bonus target for this role is 10% of annual base earnings.
