The Warehouse Accountant performs a variety of accounting functions supporting Sellen Construction's Warehouse. In addition to general accounting duties, the Warehouse Accountant provides administrative, logistical, and analytical support to the Warehouse team. 
 
This position would reconcile timesheets, process trades payable invoices, manage rental equipment and materials from stock billings, and provide administrative support. 
  • Schedule: 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday - Friday, full-time
  • Location: Mountlake Terrace, WA 
  • Free parking available at Warehouse 
Your Qualifications
  • 2+ years of directly applicable work experience (preferably from a rental company, equipment rental company, or subcontractor business)
  • Associate's degree or comparable combination of education and experience. 
KNOWLEDGE
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and the full suite of applications in Microsoft Office. 
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel functions and capabilities is essential. 
  • Proficiency with database applications and reporting.
    • Equipment rental management software
    • Construction management ERP software - Vista
  • Understanding of construction terminology and management processes. 
  • Working knowledge of accounting, payroll principles and processes, including but not limited to general ledger accounts, debit/credit processes, and substantiation of billings and charges. 
SKILLS
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

The full salary range for this position is $32/hr to $42/hr. New hires typically start between $32/hr to $37/hr, depending on direct professional experience and qualifications. Sellen's bonus plan is funded based on company performance and awarded based on individual performance, and the bonus target for this role is 5% of annual base earnings.
