Sellen’s Senior Safety Manager develops safety programs and ensures regulatory compliance across Sellen’s safety policy, procedures, and practices. The Senior Safety Manager collects and reports on all regulatory safety data. This position assists the Senior Director of Safety in the development and implementation of Safety strategies and ensures effective data collection and reporting.

The Senior Safety Manager will assist the Senior Director of Safety in developing communication plans that promote employee engagement with safety programs, policies, and safe workplace practices. You will coach and develop Safety Managers and Coordinators throughout different jobsite locations. 

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a construction management or safety-related fields or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
AND 
  • 8+ years of leadership experience in safety.
  • 8+ years of experience in data-driven safety management (preferably safety data analytics or program management).
  • 5+ in a managerial role. 
KNOWLEDGE 
  • Regulatory and administrative requirements pertaining to safety and risk management.
  • Strong safety leadership skill sets and statistical-based accident analysis. 
SKILLS 
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to deal with confrontation and come to resolution. 
  • Strong prioritization, decision-making, and delegation skills.
  • Exceptional verbal communication and customer service skills. 
  • Outstanding written communication.
  • Positive leadership.

The full salary range for this position is $129,000 to $165,000. New hires typically start between $129,000 and $151,500, depending on direct professional experience and qualifications. The bonus target for this role is 10% of annual base earnings.
