Sr. Quality Engineer

Job Summary
The Sr. Quality & Industrial Engineer has responsibilities that touch all aspects of manufacturing and distribution including procurement, manufacturing, service, shipping and pass through sales. Frequent activities include developing ISO 9001 /TL 9000 compliant processes and procedures, developing product quality plans, participating in cross-functional teams, supporting operations on quality related issues, advocating for improvement initiatives and performing internal audits.
Job Duties will include:
- Create incoming, in process and finished goods test plans
- Create Certificates of Analysis for outgoing product.
- Promote and lead Kaizen activities and other quality improvement initiatives
- Oversee and Lead Internal Quality audits
- Oversee and Lead Corrective and Preventive Actions.
- Plan, perform and oversee packaging and label audits
- Lead Supplier Quality System Risk Analysis and Improvement
- Facilitate third party product surveillance audits.
- Develop and train users on Quality System procedures
- Participate in Cross functional product development and supplier management teams.
- Review and approve documents affecting the quality of product in assigned areas of responsibility.
- Collect data needed for analysis and reporting.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in a Technical Field
- 7 or more years in a Quality Engineering or related role
