Job Description

Securonix is looking for an experienced, driven leader to join our Product management team as the Director, Product Management of Data Collection and Ingestion. In this role, you will help Securonix to achieve its strategic goals associated with cloud security market leadership by owning the vision for our ingestion and data collection services over the next 24 months, expanding existing customer platform footprint and opening new market opportunities with strategic investments in critical new data sources/frameworks. Ingestion is critical to Securonix's mission of securing customers around the world and reducing MTTD and MTTR. While leading a team of Product Managers, s/he will partner with teams to shape our roadmap and define the critical features and functions of our Security Response platform while working with Development, Operations and Executive leadership to deliver world class services and customer experience..

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive a strategic roadmap that includes data collection and ingestion developer framework, first-party developed connectors for strategic data sources, and our connector deployment/management strategy.
  • Manage and grow a team of product owners and managers to execute against product strategy/roadmap.
  • Be the player-coach and provide a strong example of best practices in Product. Management while also holding your team and your peers to the highest standard of performance.
  • Define objectives for the team that align with long term corporate planning and objects to prioritize resources for complex initiatives.
  • Own the Product relationship with strategic and marquee customers, developing personal relationships with their leadership team and sponsoring critical items for them across teams within the Product organization.
  • Become a trusted partner of the Engineering, Architecture, and Operations teams to define product and service offerings that scale and differentiate while meeting a broad set of customer requirements.
  • Provide a mature perspective, offering sound judgment and counsel to guide our Security Services through a period of explosive growth.
  • Establish key business and technical goals and metrics to manage the business, present customer value, and manage performance and availability.
  • Ensure proper execution and management of the entire product life cycle, from strategic planning to tactical execution.

Qualifications:

  • 8 years experience in product management, at least two years managing a team of product managers.
  • 1-2 years experience with endpoint detection, logging, or other on-premise deployed/SaaS managed services.
  • 1-2 years experience managing streaming data pipelines and services.
  • Experience owning highly complex data models, either in the EDR/EPP, UEBA or other security related product spaces.
  • Strong Management and Product Management experience in high growth organizations. Experience creating and standardizing product practices is a strong plus.
  • Track record of hiring and growing a strong team of Product Managers and Product Owners.
  • Experience managing at multiple levels, from diving deep into details of feature requirements, to presenting roadmaps and updates for our board of directors and executive leadership team.
  • Strong security domain experience, either in PM, research, or as a practitioner.
  • Experience leading product prioritization for multiple product lines and services is a strong plus.
  • Ability to analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, and scope business requirements.
  • Proven track record of balancing products at all stages of growth, from early hyper-growth to maintenance and sustaining.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence others internally and externally.

Education:

  • An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business is highly preferred; a Masters degree is a plus and 10+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
