At Security Finance our Payroll Administrator is responsible for:
- Preparation of payroll data for assigned territory; includes approving payroll changes, new hires, terminations, W-4 changes, direct deposit and pay card changes
- Administering wage garnishment process
- Opening/Processing/Closing payrolls within the Human Resources computer system(s)
- Preparing and distributing payroll reports/exports/funding, run GL reports at month end, and call in NACHA file to bank if Payroll Manager and Lead Payroll Administrator are unavailable
- Researching and preparing special reports for management and other personnel
- Performing calculation of monthly bonus using computerized systems and manual spreadsheets
- Testing computer systems and upgrades to ensure payroll is processed correctly
- Reviewing timecards for accuracy for assigned territory
- Running GL and prepare journal entries for any necessary branch expense changes
- Training other payroll personnel
- Prompt and regular attendance is required
You could be a great addition as Payroll Administrator if you have:
- 5 years of payroll experience required
- Knowledge of payroll principles and practices
- Knowledge of wage garnishment theories and principals preferred
- Computer literate and proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Word
- Accurate data entry skill
- Demonstrated organizational skills
Educational Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
