Staff Accountant

Security Finance is hiring a Staff Accountant!
As Staff Accountant, you will:
- Analyze, prepare and post monthly journal entries to the general ledger
- Reconcile various general ledger accounts on a monthly basis; researches and documents any reconciling items
- Prepares/Updates supporting schedules for various general ledger accounts
- Assists others within the department with various journal entries, imports, and annual reports and special projects
- Analyze expenses on a monthly basis for accuracy; documenting variances and unusual trends
- Prepare, analyze, and invoice monthly activity for our foreign operations
- Record daily cash activity for our branch operations and ensures information in the daily extract file is up to date
- Update the amortization schedules for lease changes in Costar and recoding the monthly rent amortization entries
- Prepare and filing State Annual reports
- Prepare audit schedules and responding to requests from our Internal and External auditors
- Prepare and distribute monthly status reports (ACH Setup and Month to Month Lease Payments) to upper management
You could be a great addition as Staff Accountant if you have:
- 2-3 years of related experience or a bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Knowledge of principles, practices and theories of accounting
- Computer literate with excellent Excel and Word skills
