As a Senior Marketing Generalist, reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will collaborate primarily with marketing and sales to help execute marketing and demand generation programs that result in lead generation, pipeline creation, drive customer retention and support the sales team efforts for incremental revenue opportunities. You will help communicate SecureTrust's brand values, messaging and product developments as you successfully contribute to these initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the execution of global marketing campaigns and programs including email communications, webinars, digital marketing, events, industry conferences and seminars.
  • Help drive marketing approaches to grow and accelerate revenue generation based on sales goals and current business focus.
  • Communicate regularly with sales to ensure proper adoption, understanding and integration of marketing campaigns and programs.
  • Own SecureTrust’s presence at Tradeshows, including but not limited to event registration, sponsorships, speaking submissions, in-booth collateral, pre and post-show communications, social media and coordination with sales team.
  • Involvement in content development, copyrighting and proofreading based on challenges/solutions and business type to support marketing initiatives.
  • Involvement in writing, building and deploying outbound email communications to customers and prospects through our Marketing Automation Tool (Marketo).
  • Ownership of the SecureTrust Blog and LinkedIn page.
  • Provide regular reporting that provides metrics and results of marketing performance that is in line with our overall marketing KPIs.
  • Communicate with internal expert resources (product marketing, product management, SpiderLabs, etc.) to help drive our GTM strategy.
  • Responsible for keeping the marketing calendars up-to-date with related email campaigns and webinars.
  • Maintain programs and campaigns within Marketo to ensure accuracy of data and related records.
  • Grow the database of targetable leads/contacts in the right job levels/functions for sales using data.com within Salesforce.
  • Basic knowledge of Google Ads a plus.
  • Minimal domestic travel required.

 

Education and Experience Required:

  • BS Marketing or related field
  • 5 years marketing experience (security/technology industry strongly preferred)


Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of marketing principles, practices, tactics, and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of campaign/demand generation/go to market strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of social media, LinkedIn specifically.
  • Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization.
  • Experience driving consistent field adoption of marketing campaigns.
  • Experience building strong relationships and trust with sales organizations.
  • Experience creating detailed reports/dashboards/sales pipeline reports and analysis.
  • 2-3 years Salesforce.com experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience with email marketing, with direct experience in Marketo or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Excellent written/oral communications and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; strong team player with ability to participate in cross-functional teams and interact virtually.
  • Excellent influencing, problem-solving and consensus-building skills.
  • Strong proofreading abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail.


Education:
We prefer college-educated applicants, but at minimum, high school diploma or equivalent is required for employment.
