SecureTrust, a leader in cloud-based compliance and information security solutions, is seeking a highly talented and motivated Software Quality Assurance Engineer with professional experience to join Trustwave's Product Engineering team. The Software QA Engineer assists with test planning, design (manual and automation) and execution for security software products.

Responsibilities:

  • Work in small, agile teams to test new product offerings and enhanced existing products and tools
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans with detailed test cases
  • Execution of manual and automated test cases 
  • Document and track test results and defects
  • Review requirements, specifications, and user stories to generate robust testable scenarios
  • Work closely with engineering teams
  • Promote existing SDLC process, procedures and/or methodologies

Required Skills

  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
  • 2+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance role.
  • Experience in automation frameworks like Selenium, preferably with Java or Python.
  • Knowledge of databases like SQL and MongoDb.
  • Experience with test management tools like JIRA.
  • Test and troubleshooting experience with an understanding of product delivery life cycles.
  • Strong analytical skills and extremely detail oriented.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a changing environment.
  • Ability to work with distributed teams in an Agile/iterative development process.
  • Experience in functional, integration and acceptance/workflow testing.
  • Self-starter with ability to prioritize problems and work independently.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to occasionally work scheduled night/weekend times.
  • Familiarity with the certificate authority industry is a plus.

Education:

We prefer college educated applicants, but at minimum, high school diploma or equivalent is required for employment.
