Core duties include proposing, designing, and presenting technical solutions that address a customer’s business and technical requirements. The Sales Engineer will work with Account Managers and Solutions Consultants to close business and ensure customer satisfaction. 

The role is remote so the candidate may work from a home office. Occasional travel to SecureTrust HQ may be required.

Day-to-day

  • Work with, and collaborate with SecureTrust sales and channel partners, to help delivery of demonstrations, position SecureTrust  solutions and professional services.
  • Be the primary technical contact for the entire sales process. Which may include PoC (Proof-of-Concept), RFP responses and possibly assisting partners with implementation oversight where needed.
  • Recommend and architect solutions for customer environments.
  • Work with PM and Marketing to enhance the go to market solution globally.
  • Work closely with partners and distributors with the goal of becoming the goto solution for their customers.
  • You may also be called upon to assist in professional services deployments, technical training, and industry seminars and/or trade shows.

Requirements

  • 5+ years background in sales engineering or technical support role.
  • Strong communications skills for product demonstrations and presentations to technical, non-technical and reseller audiences
  • Excellent written skills for RFP responses, proposals, pricing, and gathering technical requirements
  • Ability to understand and solve complex technical challenges
  • Self-motivated to follow customer questions to closure
  • Ability to drive RFP/RFI response process
  • Must be willing to work on large complex deals, especially RFP’s.
  • Experience in building and maximizing territory for revenue growth
  • Strong knowledge and experience in one or more of the following technical domains: Data Security, Network Security and/or Application Security
  • CISSP or other industry certification an advantage but not required


Education:

We prefer college-educated applicants, but at minimum, high school diploma or equivalent is required for employment.
