Summary:  

The ERP Sr. Specialist supports the integration and maintenance of the ERP Oracle application at Seagen. This position designs and implements business solutions via ERP system within Supply Operations to strengthen business processes, ensure data accuracy and improve efficiency. The successful candidate will use the required ERP configuration and analyzed business requirements to drive the design and implementation of new business processes. This position will conduct root causes analyzes, and designs, builds, and deploys best practice end-to-end supply chain processes and systems while streamlining and standardizing across the organization and supporting continuous improvement initiatives and activities. This role ensures the efficiency of business operations and works to harmonize process outcomes with the organization’s strategic goals by developing and implementing solutions and methods that will result in significant process improvement for operations within supply chain management. The primary objective of this position is to enable business growth and productivity through deployment, optimization, and application of business processes in the ERP system. The position will work extensively with cross functional departments to ensure alignment of business processes. This position will report to the Manager, Supply Operations Systems.  

Principal Responsibilities:  

  • Support enhancement requests and makes recommendations on timing, implementation, and design; communicate project milestones, obstacles, and progress  
  • Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions across multiple systems, e.g., Oracle, Kinaxis, EDI, Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau, Smartsheet 
  • Lead cross-functional meetings with decision makers, systems owners, project teams and others to define business requirements and goals to identify and resolve issues with scalable, sustainable solutions 
  • Consult with Supply Operations and cross-functional stakeholders to determine ERP requirements 
  • Perform diagnostic and resolve issues submitted by end users 
  • Ensure knowledge transfer to business end user resources, ensure training documentation is current and deployed for key business processes
  • Coordinate testing strategies for fixes and enhancements, write and verify the proper execution of test scripts 
  • Support ERP quarterly audit and periodic review 
  • Support management of ERP roles and control of access 
  • Design user-friendly interfaces and functionalities 
  • Support Operational Excellence initiatives within Supply Operations to strengthen business processes, ensure data accuracy and improve efficiency 
  • Analyze current system processes and critically evaluate inefficiencies; performs detailed root causes analysis and provides recommendations for technology-based solutions that can scale with growing needs of the business 
  • Act as a supply chain subject matter expert in driving best practices for Supply Operations ERP system and integrated tools, be a trusted advisor in both the technical and functional areas (e.g., Demand/Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Contract Manufacturing, Logistics, Order Management and Master Data processes) 
  • Oversee process implementation through interfacing with IT and end-users, conducting user training, and working with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration 
  • Review data quality issues and coordinates solutions with data owners 
  • Act as a change agent who is dedicated to inspiring and fostering valuable change 

Qualifications:  

  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience managing supply chain process improvements via systems and process enhancements 
  • Demonstrated experience working with ERP  
  • Experience working with integrated business systems e.g., Oracle, Kinaxis, EDI, Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau, Smartsheet 
  • Preferred work experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and health care industries 
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end business processes, e.g., Demand/Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Contract Manufacturing, Logistics, Order Management and Master Data 
  • Proven experience in business process development 
  • Expertise leading efforts with cross-functional stakeholders 
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment with strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills 
  • ERP implementation or similar process transformational experience 

Education:  

  • Bachelor's degree in Systems, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, or related program required
