The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing, implementing and maintaining an integrated supply and demand planning solution that supports uninterrupted supply to commercial and clinical patients and improves business effectiveness. 

Principal Responsibilities: 

  • Drives the architecting and deployment of Kinaxis Planning solution working with interfaces, workflows, and data management/data migration 
  • Acts as key liaison/interface between Supply Operations and the IT team for successful implementation of Kinaxis Planning solution through multiple project phases 
  • Provides knowledge of integrating Kinaxis RapidResponse with host ERP system and leads preparation of detailed functional specifications 
  • Supports design, roll-out and orchestration of processes and activities for monthly planning cycle in close collaboration with Global and Sites planners 
  • Identifies, assesses, and solves complex cross-functional business problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors 
  • Applies knowledge of Supply Chain Planning best practices to provides innovative solutions to complex business problems 
  • Maintain close connectivity with Global and Site planners to ensure tickets resolution and enabling of critical requirements and enhancements 
  • Drives team to configure and test the system to support business needs, design and configure new resources for Supply Operations, Finance and Executive Management 
  • Forms and leads team of administrators and planning system experts to ensure maintenance and continuous improvement of the planning solution 
  • Manages Kinaxis learning platform, curriculum and requirements through the organization 
  • Coach and mentor team members and users and ensure compliance to processes 


  • 10+ years working within pharmaceutical Supply Chain Operations and Execution 
  • Demonstrated experience working with Supply Chain Planning organizations 
  • Hands-on experience on Kinaxis RapidResponse Planning tool setup including integration, authoring and administration coupled with business knowledge in Supply chain Management planning areas 
  • Areas of expertise should include Demand and Supply Management, Inventory Management, S&OP including processes specific to the pharmaceutical industry. 
  • Expertise in functional integration to major ERP 
  • Advanced understanding of Supply Chain Planning Data Model 
  • Experience deploying and administering the Kinaxis application in a complex global environment 
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating cross-functionally and across cultures to drive successful outcome on joint projects 


  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., information systems, supply chain, business); or MBA 
  • RapidResponse Contributor, Author and/or Administrator certification
