Summary
The experienced Senior Security Engineer with a strong background in Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco Firepower, and IPSec site-to-site configurations. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in administering Palo Alto networks and will be responsible for daily security monitoring and issue resolution.
Responsibilities
- Manage and configure Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco Firepower security solutions.
- Design and implement IPSec site-to-site VPNs for secure connectivity.
- Monitor network security daily and respond to security incidents.
- Maintain and update firewall rules and policies to ensure network security.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits.
- Collaborate with IT teams to enhance overall network security.
- Provide training and guidance to junior security staff.
- Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing Palo Alto networks.
- In-depth knowledge of Cisco Firepower and IPSec site-to-site VPNs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSE) or higher certification is preferred.
