Summary  
         
SDI’s ServiceNow Sales Executive is an experienced and results-driven deal maker who has a successful track record of leading pursuits to develop and capture complex, multi-year engagements, specifically focused ServiceNow projects. This position is responsible for business development, qualifying, negotiating, and closing contracts. The major focus of the role is on securing new logo clients, while also providing sales support to qualified existing clients with ITSM/ServiceNow opportunities. The ServiceNow Sales Executive demonstrates a laser-like focus in managing all aspects of the sales cycle to achieve financial results for the ServiceNow Solutions team.    
      
       
Key Areas of Responsibility        
  • Attain revenue and gross profit growth targets within the domestic United States.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with Sales, Field Solutions Architects, Services Teams and Management to achieve Services goals and attainment of all targets.
  • Establish and cultivate a solid working relationship with clients. Lead, collaborate and participate with other Sales verticals on client sales calls, services estimates and client strategies with “C” suite level leadership, as necessary.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key ServiceNow leadership in each territory to ensure SDI is top of mind.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets and other projections as required.
  • Own and manage client satisfaction and loyalty within your territories. Proactively resolve issues, as necessary.
  • Act as subject matter expert on ServiceNow Solutions offerings and capabilities and educate other sales teams’ members as needed.
  • Establish and cultivate solid working relationships with all internal clients – SBU Leads, Solutions Teams, Recruiters, Utilities Leaders, and Senior Leadership Team.
  • Manage and monitor General and Administrative expenses.
        
Requirements        
  • Demonstrated success of selling multiple, multi-year ServiceNow or equivalent competitor solutions in the $200,000 to $1MM range for a minimum of 5 years.
  • Demonstrated achievement of quarterly and year-over-year quota and/or performance goal attainment.
  • Established book of business in ServiceNow and/or other ITSM product implementations, for commercial, government, and education markets. We prefer experienced sellers with an existing network that can be leveraged to gain access to industry contacts, leads, and new opportunities.
  • Significant ServiceNow, and/or competitor ITSM solutions including product lines, features and benefits.
  • Demonstrable success with using consultative and solutions-based selling skills to clearly understand client business requirements, developing solutions to meet those objectives, and leading pursuit teams to deliver high-quality proposals and customer presentations to win client engagements.
  • Expert in driving sales engagements from lead generation through contract signing and service initiation; ability to close opportunities for the company that becomes a platform for sustainable and profitable customer-business relationships
  • Accurate and up-to-date tracking throughout sales cycle within HubSpot CRM.
  • Results-oriented self-starter approach with the ability to work independently – including building potential customer presentation decks - as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other sales, solutions, and delivery teams.
      
Education and/or Experience Qualifications        
  • 5 years of sales experience with consistent quota attainment
  • Strong background in IT Service Management and ServiceNow functionalities
  • Knowledge of ITILv3 or 4, minimum Foundation level
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or a related field or equivalent experience
