Summary
The C2M Technical Designer will work on a team at a tier one IOU’s C2M CIS System to support. The C2M Technical Designer will work under the direct supervision of the Project Executive or Project Lead to understand business requirements and work with other SMEs to develop solutions. This individual will also assist with ensuring that deliverables meet client standards and expectations. The successful candidate may work on multiple projects simultaneously and be a team player. 
 
Responsibilities 
  • Creating technical design into C2M using Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF). Understand acceptance requirements and feature / be able to translate tech design in C2M to satisfy acceptance criteria.
  • Understand the requirements and solution design
  • This includes designing and developing Java, Groovy, and application scripting objects with supporting configuration for the application to meet the client requirements.
  • Work on integrations between C2M and existing systems (working w/ integration team).
  • Lead or assist with management of the RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) development effort.
  • Create Functional and Technical Designs for RICEF objects
  • Assist with base and custom configuration
  • Assist with requirement gathering and analysis activities
  • Develop and review RICEF objects
  • Review RICEF object designs and development
  • Assist and mentor resources with design and development of RICEF objects
  • Conduct Unit testing
  • Assist with the code management process
  • Assist with other testing activities
  • Defect triage, analysis, and resolution
Requirements
  • 8-10 Years of C2M experience
  • Some experience creating/writing tech designs
  • Utility Experience Required
  • Agile experience a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially around breaking down complex structures into digestible and relevant points for a diverse set of clients and colleagues.
  • Challenge and inspire both co-workers and clients to think about challenging situations in new and transformative ways.
  • Provide innovative commercial insights for clients, adapt methods and practices to fit operational team and cultural needs and contribute to thought leadership.
  • Drive projects to completion and determine that work is of a high quality.
  • Anticipate and identify risks and escalate issues, as appropriate.
  • Create a positive learning culture and will coach and counsel junior team members and help them to develop.
  • Develops long-term relationships and networks both internally and externally
  • Interacts and communicates effectively with teammates, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree emphasis in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, MIS, mathematics desired
  • Certifications and prior consulting experience highly preferred
  • Additional languages (e.g., Python, C++, Ruby, Scala) a plus
  • Proven track record of 4+ years designing and developing within the Oracle Utilities Application Framework using Java, Groovy, and/or application scripting.
  • Experience and knowledge of Oracle Utilities products' data model
  • Proven Oracle Utilities product implementation knowledge
  • Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively with customers, across different departments and levels within the company
  • Proficient knowledge of information technology and business consulting practice
  • Superior skills include business analysis, process facilitation, change management, creative and critical thinking, superior written and verbal communications, technical writing, problem solving, presentations, and public speaking
  • Handle multiple assignments within a fast-paced environment with potential conflicting schedules.
  • Willingness to travel as required; valid driver's license
