What you’ll be doing:
The Compliance Coordinator reports directly to the Compliance Manager and will administer Compliance training and activities for all team members. The Compliance Coordinator will support the Compliance Manager.
- Responsibilities:
- Assists in the development and implementation of compliance training to all team members upon hire or contracting, annually, and ongoing basis
- Accurately tracks, reports and communicates completion of compliance training
- Compliance liaison to company LMS Administrator for Workday and Litmos/SCPU
- Monitors industry and regulatory developments, and compliance recommendations for ongoing education.
- Accurately tracks, reports and communicates employee Conflict of Interest disclosures
- Oversight and reporting of the exclusion check process
- Compliance Representative program leader
- Assist with facility communications and investigating reported compliance concerns
- Assists in the development of compliance P&Ps
- Ensures Compliance and Provider Portals remain up to date around current compliance activities, training, policies and procedures, regulations, etc.
- Pursues continuing education to maintain knowledge of current compliance rules and regulations
- Organize activities around National Compliance Week
- Exhibit the Company’s Core Values and comply with the Code of Conduct
- Any other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:- 1-5 years of previous healthcare compliance, experience is preferred.
- Degree in Healthcare related field preferred
- RHIA, RHIT, CHC Preferred
- Knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to healthcare
- Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently
- Strong intrapersonal skills
- Ability to interact and work effectively with employees at all levels
- Strong organizational and attention-to-detail abilities and skills
