Job Summary:

The Senior AR Accountant is responsible for preparing contract revenue reconciliations along with the corresponding journal entries ensuring the distribution of accurate contract invoicing. Responsible for reading, interpreting hospital contracts and implementing contract revenue clauses. A lead position with management level growth expectations.


  • Review and/or prepare contract reconciliation schedules and necessary journal entries to invoice monthly
  • Read and interpret hospital contracts and amendments; make necessary system changes and/or build reconciliations as needed
  • Maintain balance sheet roll forward schedules
  • Provide reports/analysis to other departments as requested
  • Strategic collaboration with Operations
  • Assist with developing best-in-class accounts receivable metrics and key performance indicators by recommending process improvements
  • Accounts receivable liaison for M&A
  • Lead in the accounts receivable monthly close cycle
  • Maintain policies and procedures for the accounts receivable department
  • Assist in the annual external audit and participate in internal audit and SOX compliance
  • Any other duties as assigned at the discretion of Management

EDUCATION (Required and/or Preferred):

  • Bachelor of Business Administration
  • Other accounting certifications a plus


  • Accounting/Finance/Business


  • Minimum 5 years: Accounting related experience
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Proficiency with computers, especially Microsoft Excel & accounting software, and strong typing skills
