        What you’ll be doing: 
        • Oversees the Corporate Accounting, Reporting, and Accounts Payable functions.
        • Obtains and maintains a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
        • Manages and ensures accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes.
        • Manages the preparation of the annual financial statements, related footnote disclosures, and other supporting documentation required, in compliance with US GAAP.
        • Manages the preparation and review of quarterly Audit Committee and Lender deliverables; these include: financial statements, various flux analyses, executive level PowerPoint presentations, as well as other required deliverables.
        • Advises staff regarding the proper US GAAP accounting of non-routine reporting transactions.
        • Performs variance analyses as compared to budget, forecasts, and prior periods as required
        • Works in partnership with the outside audit firm to manage all audit-related matters.
        • Proactively reviews internal work and business processes with the mindset of identifying and implementing improvements to gain efficiencies within the department.
        • Is proficient in conducting in-depth accounting research and producing comprehensive whitepapers summarizing management accounting positions and citing relevant areas of US GAAP.
        • Contributes to accounting and integration efforts for M&A activities.
        • Establishes and maintains accounting policies and procedures.
        • Contribute to special projects as assigned by management.
        Who/What we are looking for: 
        • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
        • Healthcare finance/accounting experience preferred
        • CPA designation is required.
        • 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles is required.
        • Profound expertise in US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP).
        • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
        • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
        • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
        • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
        • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
