What you’ll be doing:

The Senior AR Coordinator is to accurately invoice all contract receivables and answer any inquiries related to such. The representative will manage, monitor, and communicate past due balances to ensure payments are received timely.

  • Prepare contract invoices
  • Daily payment posting
  • Prepare, maintain, and distribute the past due report
  • Answer questions regarding invoices/past dues on an as needed basis
  • Daily collection calls to facilities to bring resolution to unpaid accounts along with notation of communication from each call
  • Follow-up to ensure that payment arrangements that were made are upheld
  • Research invoicing issues and misapplied payments
  • Initiate journal entries to accrue contract revenue in correct accounting period
  • Prepare volume protector contract reconciliations and necessary journal entries
  • Provide feedback to management concerning possible problems or areas of improvement
  • Make recommendations to implement improved processes

What we are looking for: 

  • You have 3 or more years of accounting related experience.  
  • You have a basic understanding of accounting principles.
  • You are proficient with Microsoft Excel and related accounting software
  • You have obtained a High School diploma or GED. Higher is education preferred
