Senior Supply Chain Planning Data and Process Manager
Description
As the Senior Supply Chain Planning Data and Process Manager, you will be instrumental in leading the implementation of a global Supply Chain Planning tool and our global operational Master Data Management system for Finished Good and Work In Progress (WIP) item masters. This role will ensure seamless integration, process standardization, and improvements across the organization while acting as a super user for the system, supporting the demand & supply planners with advanced statistical analysis. The Senior Supply Chain Planning Data and Process Manager will also oversee two MDM Managers with responsibilities for the Supply Chain master data globally — ensuring data governance and operational excellence across the MDM processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Global Supply Chain Planning Tool Implementation:
- Lead the data & process assessments for the implementation of a global Supply Chain Planning solution, focusing on Demand and Supply Planning to improve forecasting accuracy and streamline planning processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Data & Analytics, FP&A, and Sales, to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee the training of users and ensure the successful adoption of new processes and technologies.
Standardization & Process Improvement:
- Develop and implement standardized processes across business segments to ensure consistent use of the new planning tool.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and work with internal stakeholders to enhance planning capabilities.
- Provide thought leadership in best practices for supply chain planning and data management.
Operational MDM Model Implementation:
- Lead the implementation of an operational MDM model for the Finished Goods and Work-in-Progress (WIP) domains.
- Oversee the day-to-day MDM operations managed by the Finished Good MDM Manager and other MDM personnel.
- Drive the development of data quality metrics and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain high data integrity.
Governance of Manufacturing Bill of Materials (BoM):
- Implement governance processes for the management and accuracy of the manufacturing Bill of Materials across global production sites.
- Ensure data consistency and accuracy within the BoM and Finished Goods domains through robust data governance practices.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and IT teams to refine BoM structures and improve data management practices.

Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in supply chain planning, master data management, or analytics within a manufacturing or related industry.
- 5+ years of data or process governance in the supply chain function
- Proven experience implementing and optimizing global technology solutions
- Experience managing teams
- Strong understanding of multi-ERP environments and data integration.
- Experience in statistical forecasting and demand planning.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently and adapt to changing business needs.
- Preferred:
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience in process automation or AI-driven forecasting.
- Familiarity with manufacturing BoM management and governance.
Location: This role is hybrid and based in Alpharetta with flexibility for remote work. Occasional travel may be required to manufacturing sites.
