Engineering Summer Intern
Description
Our goal is to provide the opportunity for the Intern to apply their learned knowledge in a “Hands On” environment within our facility. We will also introduce the Intern to Continuous Improvement projects by participating as part of our continuous improvement projects team.
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
- Interacting with the Maintenance Team Manager, Mill Manager, operations and Maintenance Staff on day-to-day mill operations,
- Assisting with the development of Capital Engineering Projects and assist in the general maintenance and repair work within the maintenance department,
- Assisting in the implementation of Continuous Improvement projects.
Qualifications:
Working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, MANUFACTURING Engineering, Management or related studies required.
* Computer proficient in Auto Cad, Excel, Word, etc.
* Good verbal and written communication skills are a must.
* Detail oriented
