We have an opportunity for a Driver in our Filtration Division.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a Driver who is passionate about working for a growing company.  This position, located in our El Cajon, California site.  The Driver reports to the Materials Manager and is responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of products.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Responsible for the safe and efficient shipping, receiving, delivering and storing of materials and inventory.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Follows all company established methods, policies, rules, practices, and procedures to ensure employee safety, product quality and efficient operations.
  • Drives truck to deliver products to customer’s facility or place of businesses.
  • Generate and print detailed packing list from database and generate the shipping bill of ladings
  • Pick and stage orders for shipping
  • Packages items for delivery.
  • Receive material and verify size and quantity into inventory and perform shipping transactions to relieve inventory
  • Load and unload trucks via forklift or pallet jack
  • Places stock on shelves and racks.
  • Responsible for upkeep and routine maintenance on company vehicles utilizing outside vendors (oil changes, car wash, tire rotations)
  • Keep material organized on shop floor and in warehouse
  • Perform stock moves in system to correspond with material location
  • Perform cycle counts as needed including year end inventory
  • Monitor and maintain production reports
  • Attention to detail to ensure all customer orders are shipped accurately and in good condition
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Education/Certifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required and up to three years related experience or a combination or education and experience. Required to maintain a valid Driver’s License and clean MVR.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to read and write simple correspondence
  • Basic math skills
  • Must satisfactorily complete fork lift certification program
  • Basic computer skills
  • Employee is regularly required to get on and off a forklift.
  • Occasionally required to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
