South Carolina Federal Credit Union is currently seeking a Website Optimization Specialist to join our team of outstanding Marketing professionals in North Charleston, SC.

 

Duties include but are not limited to:

 

  • Responsible for the analysis and optimization of conversion aspects of scfederal.org and other ancillary sites in an effort to increase profitability, drive member engagement, and accelerate the member journey.
  • Manages the UX process by providing clarity on requirements, identifying upstream and downstream impacts to the end-to-end experience, prioritizing features, discussing tradeoffs, and analyzing data.
  • Ensures the quality and performance of the user experience related to content layout and merchandising, calls to action, landing pages, forms, personalization, and other opportunities to drive engagement that leads to closed sales at the point of contact or feeds our lead generation tools.
  • Interprets data, identifies key findings, and makes and shares recommendations/learnings based on testing results to positively impact conversion strategies, member learnings, future web developments and further testing iterations.
  • Oversees MarTech systems that directly support analysis, diagnosis, testing, and personalization of website user experiences and conversions.
  • Works hands-on as a power-user in our content management system to manage website content and site structure, identify and correct poor user experiences, and apply conversion optimizations.
  • Works with digital marketing to ensure landing pages and conversion opportunities are appropriately optimized for paid traffic.
  • Guides the web team through the user research, testing, prototyping and wireframing phases of projects to ensure rollout readiness for all web deployments.
  • Leverages data and analytics to track current site performance as well as make recommendations during each phase of the lifecycle. Develops reporting and dashboards to review current performance and highlight key findings. Shares results with stakeholders and receives actionable feedback.
  • Researches industry trends and compares current performance data to conceptualize and identify new opportunities that increase profitability through the online channels.
  • Stays current with online marketing regulatory and privacy compliance requirements and ensure internal privacy policies and brand standards are followed on all marketing deliverables.
  • Ensures assigned projects are managed on time and produce quality results.

 

Minimum requirements include:

 

  • Possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of work experience and job specific training and/or certifications. UX Design Certification or degree a plus.
  • Possess a minimum of three years of similar or related experience working in websites and e-marketing, preferably B2C.
  • Possess experience managing websites, software/products designed for a digitally savvy consumer, preferably with an understanding of banking products and banking customer interactions.
  • Possess demonstrated experience in UX and user design.
  • Possess strong knowledge of and expertise in common marketing, CMS, and web tools. Expertise in testing and analytics platforms.
  • Possess demonstrated strength in written and verbal communication and influencing skills.
  • Possess experience creating and editing visuals and content utilizing Adobe Creative Cloud and HTML.
  • Possess proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Possess intermediate mathematical skills to perform calculations involving decimals and percentages.
