South Carolina Federal Credit Union is currently seeking an Assistant Financial Center Manager to join our team of outstanding professionals at the Rivers Ave Financial Center in North Charleston, SC.


Duties include but are not limited to:

 

  • Build Financial Center revenue and increase market share through prospecting and acquiring of new member and business accounts.
  • Demonstrate Core and Leadership Values through active community involvement.
  • Build an engaged, highly performing team through on-boarding, coaching and development of Financial Center team members.
  • Oversee all areas within the Financial Center, which encompasses professionally navigating multiple systems to perform sales and service task in person and by telephone/email with a high degree of accuracy and speed in a high-volume, fast-paced financial center environment.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales/performance goal and operational standards.
  • Promote and ensure staff professionally correspond with members or potential members, provides superior member service, identify financial needs, offer products and services that truly fit the members’ needs and build long-term relationships.
  • Ensure member issues/disputes are managed properly, to include thorough and timely resolutions and responses.
  • Accept responsibilities of the Financial Center Manager in his/her absence or if reporting directly to Area Sales VP, then provide assistance to VP as needed.

 

Minimum requirements include:

 

  • Possess a minimum of three years of similar or related experience within a financial service and sales environment.
  • Possess a minimum of two year demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Possess complete knowledge of sales, sales management, financial center banking, and consumer lending
  • Possess the ability to proactively solicit new business by reaching out to the local community
  • Enjoys working with the public in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Possess demonstrated ability to motivate and influence others to achieve personal and team goals
  • Possess well-developed written and verbal communication skills involving tact and persuasiveness that must be used to reach an objective and maintain goodwill
  • Possess advanced problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Possess in-depth judgment and decision-making qualities to analyze complicated factual situations and apply functional principles and develop solutions
  • Possess demonstrated ability to identify and evaluate issues and reach sound conclusions or decisions based on fact and in a proactive manner
  • Possess intermediate mathematical skills performing calculations involving decimals, percentages, fractions, etc.
  • Possess intermediate proficiency in Windows based programs
  • Possess proven employee relations and interpersonal skills
  • Possess strong time management and organizational skills
  • Possess the ability to relocate to any financial center at management’s request
  • Possess a bachelor's degree in similar or a related field or equivalent work experience.
