Position at SBM Management

The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for helping effectively communicate the stories of SBM’s key accounts. This includes strategically identifying opportunities to develop marketing assets, working closely with department contacts to build communications, presentations, videos, and more to reinforce and grow SBM’s position with the assigned account.


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  Other duties may be assigned. 


  • Serve as the marketing department owner assigned to several of SBM’s key portfolios
  • Act as primary marketing contact for each account, ensuring projects and communication opportunities are routed to the appropriate marketing team members for execution
  • Lead and/or participate in regular meetings with designated Account Directors to proactively and openly articulate ideas and identify creative opportunities to share stories reinforcing SBM’s value proposition
  • Perform daily reviews of account performance and key metrics captured on SBM’s software platform to inspire data-driven storylines
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, often requiring outside resources and crossing departments/divisions to produce the most effective communications 
  • Serve as communication strategist and consultant with operations and corporate partners to develop growth strategies, key messages, and assorted material to support marketing/sales objectives
  • Evaluate the impact of different communication channels and messaging strategies to ensure effective communications
  • Serve as account manager between project stakeholders and design team 
  • Write and review material for various communication pieces
  • Work within established design templates to produce communications
  • Regularly report on the progress and success of various projects and initiatives
  • Help prepare for involvement in community organizations and events
  • Adapt to the changing needs of the department, develop new skills, and assist with projects outside of normal job responsibilities as needed


Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
