Position at SBM Management

Responsible for coordination and directing operations necessary to carry out contractual responsibilities between SBM and customers including any and all necessary planning, supervision, budgeting, vendor and supply contact, customer relations and other high level managerial or supervisor responsibilities. Responsible for developing effective quality control processes. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Devises and reviews specifications for products or processes to ensure effective quality control.
  • Ensures that SBM’s quality management systems conforms to all regulatory/legal requirements.
  • Oversee inspection of materials to ensure they meet requirements.
  • Monitors internal processes for quality standards.
  • Keeps up on standards, regulations/laws, issues and news with respect to product and service quality.
  • Develops work schedules to ensure adequate service.
  • Prepares schedules for service personnel, assigns personnel to routes.
  • Inspects and evaluates physical condition of establishment for program compliance, i.e. safety, quality, and service.
  • Audits and maintains inventories supplies and equipment.
  • Investigates and promotes improved equipment and methods.
  • Reviews customer requests for service to ascertain cause for service request, type of malfunction, and address with manager.
  • Implements organization policies and goals.
  • Facilitate budget requests to identify areas in which reductions can be made.
  • Assists with plans, budgets, and schedule modifications including cost estimates bid sheets and contracts.
  • Participate in the development of long-range plans, conceptual designs, and capital outlay requirements for program/process improvements.
  • Assists with coordination of program specifications, requirements for proposals and contracts, and associated documents.
  • Collects data for preparing estimates, labor hours, expenses, and other metrics.
  • Maintain a safe work environment for self and employees.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, such as, FLSA, OSHA, ADA, etc.
  • Directs supervisory management engaged in support of facilities programs.
  • Acts as liaison between company, customers, clients, employees, and subcontractors.
  • Conduct and attend meetings to communicate top down, and bottom up on a consistent real time basis, with customers, clients, and employees.
  • Assist with human resource concerns and issues.
  • Some travel may be required for this position.

Qualifications: 
  • A.A. Degree required with 2+ years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

  • CPR/AED/First Aid certification a plus

  • May be required to have a valid driver’s license.

  • Completed all safety and task training certification.

  • May be required to be forklift certified

  • Bilingual a plus

  • Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team.
  • Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment.
  • Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use.
  • Customer service, problem solving, time management, project management, planning, excellent communication, presentation, interviewing, coaching and training skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Computer Skills.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, employees, and general public.
  • GMP background required
Compensation: $90,000 - $95,000 per year
