Position at SBM Management

The Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Vice President will lead operations, process, workflow, and delivery for the Life Sciences and GMP vertical. As a strategic leader, the VP will work closely with the Business Directors, Functional Leads and Delivery teams, directing and managing the day-to-day development, compliance, and overall strength to lead growth of the business vertical.         

Responsibilities           

  • Continuously evaluate and implement process improvements and standardized ways of working across the sector to drive excellence and efficiencies  
  • Leading and managing reliability, accountability, and optimization of the portfolio's critical space which includes but is not limited to GMP and high-tech cleanroom space. 
  • Construct highly specialized and complex research and development to drive outstanding client satisfaction 
  • Introduce Life Sciences business relationships to SBM and bring a strategic perspective to sales and marketing, collaborating with business development professionals to position SBM as the partner of choice for Life Sciences construction projects, GMP, Critical Environments.  
  • Share and apply expertise and knowledge of the life sciences industry internally through the organization 
  • Track industry trends and provide innovative service improvements and technologies to ensure SBM is aligned with Life Sciences client objectives as the market grows and evolves 
  • Act as the SBM Life Sciences client advocate by understanding and meeting client strategic business needs and working with internal teams to develop project approaches with a client perspective 
  • Identify and present relevant prior experience and facility solutions from similar projects across SBM to support both operations and sales objectives 
  • Provide advanced business objectives to clients as they pertain to facilities 
  • Present strategic cost and schedule models for project delivery 
  • Manage emotions effectively in ourselves and our relationships 
  • Drive Team Accountability - Determine priorities and delegate work; monitor and communicate progress 
  • Establish measures to assess the impact, quality, and timeliness of results 
  • Coach and Develop Others - Provide feedback, instruction, and development guidance to help others excel in their current or future job responsibilities

  • Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications           

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Graphic Arts, Marketing, Advertising/Communications, or a related field from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 7+ Years' experience in leading, directly managing, and influencing a diverse organization of full-time employees across multiple disciplines and platforms
  • Established track record of effective financial management capability and stewardship of Capital & Operating budgets Experience or solid understanding of multi-state, multi-country, or federal-level labor laws and employment conditions & requirements
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to engage, influence and inspire peers, direct and indirect reports
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (written, verbal)
  • Continuous improvement mindset 
 

Compensation: $200,000- $220,000 per year           

Shift: Monday - Friday
